High Rise - Family Adventure Centre Lisburn

High Rise is an excellent kids' climbing venue! It caters to a range of ages, from a keen 9-year-old to a nervous 8-year-old and a boisterous 2-year-old. The cleanliness and freshness of the venue make it a pleasant place to spend time. The staff's friendliness and attention to safety, even during busy half-term periods, are commendable. Plus, the wide variety of food and drink options adds to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for families!

I recently organised a Christmas party for preschool aged children in the soft play area at High Rise. The experience was brilliant from start to finish! We were so well looked after by friendly and helpful staff on the day, especially Patricia, and the party food afterwards was very tasty! Parents commented on how clean the soft play area and all facilities were and are keen to come back for more fun. I would highly recommend this as a venue for anyone planning a party, or just to get out with the kids for a couple of hours. The clip 'n' climb area also looked amazing for older children! We booked a last minute session for our son and 9 of his friends for his birthday, when we arrived I’m sure the staff were worried as 10, 8 year old boys would be pretty rowdy and they were initially however I can not fault the staff in this building at all!! From the girl on the desk who got us checked in quickly to the guy taking the safety talk the cafe staff and especially the staff in the climbing area who were all amazing with the boys calm, patient, encouraging and above all else fun!! All the boys had different abilities and wanted to go at different paces and this wasn’t an issue, our food was brought out quickly the snack bags were there and slushies for the boys finishing their climb. No stress for the parents at all thank you so much I’d recommend High rise to anyone 😊

We had our sons 8th Birthday party at High-Rise, we were really impressed from start to finish. The online booking process was easy to follow and the place was clean with great attention to safety which was really reassuring. On arrival the receptionist was friendly and had everything well organised, the safety brief was informative and delivered in a way which was perfect for kids to understand. The kids had a fantastic time in the climbing area, it was well organised and lots of staff around to help, and the food was great! Every staff member was helpful and friendly, thank you High-Rise!

Fantastic climbing for all ages Very clean and brand new. Must be about 12 different walls / objects to climb up varying from easy to quite challenging. This place is definitely aimed towards families as opposed to serious, experienced climbers, although there is a timed speed-climbing wall. Staff were lovely and very professional. Kids were not waiting long to be clipped in at each wall. The place was spotlessly clean. There are snacks available and looked like there are quality side rooms for parties. Viewing available from ground level and first floor and is right beside the walls so it's easy to cheer your child on. There's an auto belay system which appears very safe and not dependent on someone holding a rope while you climb. There's also a very big slide and a 'leap of faith' for the bigger children. For the smaller kids, there was a large soft play area. Photography was permitted and I think encouraged. Apparently this business is a charity and the profits are ploughed back into the charity. There is a 10 minute brief to sit through at the start, which is a mix of a video and a staff member instruction. The kids loved it. Will definitely go again!

We initially booked exclusive hire of the sensory room for our autistic 3 year old. Upon entering the premises the staff were fantastic and super friendly. Julie who took us to the room and spent some time with us was amazing. Even our son, who is strange with new people, took her by the hand and sat her down to include her in the activities. The room was well equipped with plenty for both our 3 year old and 6 month old. We also booked the autism friendly morning for soft play and this again was a great success. Even us parents had some fun on site too. Was a great relief to spend time with other parents in similar situations as us and not have to worry about other parents watching and judging which is unfortunately a normal part of our lives. Will definitely be back soon and recommend to anyone 🙌

We attended our first sensory for babies class today at High Rise. We have gone to a number of different baby classes and this has been our favourite so far. Julie is a credit to High Rise, she had a well thought out session planned for us and interacted well with all the babies. The tea and coffee at the end is a lovely touch to get chatting with other new parents!
